For tattoo removal in Berlin, we work with the PicoSure® picosecond laser – one of the most advanced and powerful laser technologies worldwide. The ultra-short light pulses break down colour pigments with exceptional precision, allowing the body to gradually and naturally eliminate them.
Thanks to the targeted energy delivery, even dense and complex tattoos as well as dark and many coloured pigments can be treated effectively, while the surrounding tissue is preserved as much as possible. This creates the foundation for a skin-friendly, controlled and structured tattoo removal process at a high medical standard.
Tattoo removal is a process. Fading occurs gradually over several weeks after each session. The number of treatments required depends on various factors – including colour, pigment density, skin type and individual starting conditions.
In most cases, 4–8 sessions are required. This estimate is communicated openly, realistically and transparently from the very beginning. The treatment is medically supervised and individually planned, ensuring that every treatment course remains clear and comprehensible.
Our aim is not to create idealised expectations, but to clearly explain what is possible – and what is not. This results in tattoo removal that is effective, gentle on the skin and medically sound.
After treatment, temporary redness, swelling or scab formation may occur. These reactions are normal and usually subside. Tattoo removal is not performed during pregnancy, in cases of acute skin inflammation or certain pre-existing medical conditions. Individual suitability is assessed by a physician in advance.
At SkinTime, safety, quality and personalised care are our top priorities. Our decades of experience, combined with treatments performed by qualified physicians and NiSV-certified specialists, form the basis for safe and convincing results.
When booking a treatment package consisting of several individual sessions, you will receive additional discounts.
Consultation for tattoo removal is free of charge.
Tattoo removal is mainly performed using nanosecond lasers (Q-switched lasers) and modern picosecond lasers. While nanosecond lasers work with longer pulses, picosecond lasers produce significantly shorter light pulses, allowing colour pigments to be broken down more finely and removed more efficiently by the body.
We work with the PicoSure® picosecond laser, one of the most advanced and powerful laser technologies for tattoo removal. This technology enables precise, controlled and skin-friendly treatment – even for complex, dense or multi-coloured tattoos.
With modern picosecond technology, all common tattoo colours can be treated, including multi-coloured and dark pigments. However, achievable results depend on the individual pigment composition and depth of the tattoo.
Pain perception varies from person to person and is often described as a short, intense sensation of heat or snapping. To make the treatment as comfortable as possible, we use a separate cooling system that specifically cools the skin.
If required, a numbing cream can also be applied. This combination has proven effective and allows for a well-tolerated treatment, even on sensitive skin areas.
The skin should be healthy and intact. Intense sun exposure or tanning beds should be avoided before treatment in order to minimise the risk of skin reactions.
When performed professionally and using modern laser technology, the risk is low. The treatment is individually adapted and medically supervised to minimise strong skin reactions as much as possible.
